Issue 2 of Thin White Line will be published soon-ish. Just recently we spoke with Brisbane Roar midfielder Luke Brattan. He’s a nice bloke. We didn’t ask him about pasties.

Luke’s a genuine fan of the game, which is why we like him. We asked if he’s a chance to play for the Socceroos at this year’s World Cup Finals in Brazil, and his response gave us one more reason to like him:

I think there are a few players in my position that are more experienced than me.  If I get a call-up I’ll be ecstatic.  It would be an absolute pleasure to represent Australia, it would be a dream come true, and I’d do anything to perform for my country.

The full interview with Luke will be published in Issue 2 of Thin White Line. Subscribe to Thin White Line to make sure of your copy.

Thin White Line spoke to Luke Brattan thanks to Nike FC. Luke Brattan is one of Nike FC’s ambassadors, and you’ll see our exclusive photos and interview in Issue 2.

Luke Brattan and his Brisbane Roar teammates celebrate scoring a goal against Melbourne Victory. Check out the grim-looking bloke in the front row, staring into the distance. He doesn’t look happy. Maybe he just spent his kids’ inheritance on some hot chips. “How do I break the news to the kids? What do I tell the missus? Woe is me!”
